Jenny Gago (born September 11, 1953; age 66) is an actress who played Maria Canosa, the principal of Grant Street Elementary School, during Season 1 of 24. Her role was uncredited.

Biography and careerEdit

Jenny Gago was born in Peru. Through her career, she has appeared in countless of TV shows like CHiPs, Falcon Crest, Remington Steele, MacGyver, Chicago Hope (with Peter MacNicol), The Pretender (with Patrick Bauchau and Jon Gries), Ally McBeal (with MacNicol, Gil Bellows, and Albert Hall), Crossing Jordan (with Ravi Kapoor and Jose Zuniga), Lost (with Daniel Dae Kim and Donnie Keshawarz), and The Closer (with Raymond Cruz and Tony Plana).

Gago has also had recurring roles on General Hospital, Knots Landing, The Agency, Southland (with Michael Cudlitz), and Freddie (with Freddie Prinze Jr.). She has also appeared in the show Alien Nation, as well as its films playing the role of Detective Beatrice Zapeda.

Aside of TV shows, Gago has also appeared on films like Innerspace, The Tie that Binds, and Nurse Betty. However, she is perhaps more remembered for her role on the film My Family (with Esai Morales).

Gago played the role of Maria Canosa during Season 1 of 24. Canosa was the principal of Grant Street Elementary School that was present during one of David Palmer's activities. Gago appeared in two episodes and was credited as a co-star.
