Biography and career[]
John-Samuel Kande was born in Brussels, Belgium. His father was a Congolese journalist for The New York Times, and as a result, they frequently moved around Europe and Africa. When he was 9 years old, John-Samuel moved to London with his family, where he attended Forest Gate School. He began practicing mixed martial arts when he was 11, and started acting at the age of 12.
In 2011, Kande appeared in a small role on Marvel's blockbuster film Captain America: The First Avenger (with Kenneth Choi). After that, he has appeared in other films like The Iron Lady, Closed Circuit, The Gunman, and The Legend of Tarzan. Kande has also appeared in a couple of short films.
Kande is fluent in a number of languages including English, French & Lingala.
