John was a business associate of Chris Whitley prior to the events of Redemption.
Redemption
John was on the phone with Chris to express his alarm about their business transaction, but Chris tried to reassure him that it would improve over time. John did not relent, and Chris eventually lost interest in the call, taking out some pills and hanging up on John. Chris was then paged by his boss, Mr. Nichols.
