John Beard was a Los Angeles FOX News anchor who co-starred in two episodes of 24 as a news reader. His first appearance was in Season 4, and the second appearance was during Season 5.

He has acted as a news reader in other productions, including the animated "Spider-Man" series and "The Bernie Mac Show".
