John Lacy (born August 29, 1965; age 58) played Holtzman during Season 5 of 24.

Biography and career

John Lacy was born in Iowa City, Iowa. Both his parents were writers and authors, and they settled in Minneapolis, Minnesota after Lacy's father got a job as a speech writer for Senator Nick Coleman.

Through his career, Lacy has worked in shows like ER (with Paul McCrane and Eriq La Salle), NYPD Blue (with Esai Morales), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (with Aisha Tyler and Alex Carter), NCIS (with Pauley Perrette), Numb3rs (with Peter MacNicol and Navi Rawat), Vanished (with Reed Diamond and John Allen Nelson), Heroes (with Leonard Roberts and Zachary Quinto), and The Red Road (with Tamara Tunie).

Lacy also appeared in one episode of Touch, along with Kiefer Sutherland. The episode in which he appeared also featured performances by Lukas Haas, Greg Ellis, John Boyd, and D.B. Sweeney. He also appeared in the 2004 television movie Helter Skelter, which featured a relatively large number of fellow 24 actors, including Mary Lynn Rajskub, Nick Jameson, Endre Hules, Keith Szarabajka, and François Chau.

Lacy played the role of Holtzman during Season 5 of 24. Holtzman was the Federal marshal tasked with arresting President Charles Logan after it was discovered that he was complicit in the Sentox nerve gas conspiracy. Lacy appeared in one episode and was credited as a guest star.
