Johnson was a helicopter pilot and field agent who worked for CTU Los Angeles, and later CTU NY.

Biography[]

Day 1[]

Around 5am on Day 1, Jack Bauer requisitioned a chopper that was flown by Johnson, to get him to St. Mark's Hospital from CTU. Later, Johnson flew one of the two choppers sent by Alberta Green to the Gaines compound to rescue Jack and his family. That evening, Johnson flew a CTU chopper to the Saugus detention center as Victor Drazen was being broken out of the facility. ("4:00am-5:00am", "12:00pm-1:00pm", "8:00pm-9:00pm")

Day 2[]

On Day 2, Johnson flew to the Mojave Desert with a co-pilot to pick up Jack Bauer after the nuclear bomb had been detonated in the desert. ("11:00pm-12:00am")

Day 3[]

Johnson flew a helicopter to the Downey Holding Facility during Day 3, and got out to stand by Chase Edmunds in the parking lot as Jack Bauer exited holding Ramon Salazar at gunpoint. Chase told Johnson to let Jack take his helicopter, which they used to flee the scene. ("5:00pm-6:00pm")

Day 4[]

At the end of Day 4, Johnson flew Jack and Curtis Manning from The Mercerwood to the Global Center in pursuit of Habib Marwan. Jack instructed Johnson to approach the building stealthily, before flying above Marwan's chopper to prevent him taking off. Jack and Curtis exited the helicopter and Marwan was chased down, and Johnson shone his spotlight on Jack as Marwan fell to his death. ("6:00am-7:00am")

Day 5[]

On the morning of Day 5, Johnson dropped Curtis Manning at Ontario Airport by helicopter, to deal with the hostage situation that was forming. ("9:00am-10:00am")

When CTU learned that Vladimir Bierko was planning to release Sentox nerve gas at the Wilshire Gas Company, Johnson flew Jack and Curtis to the plant. As they, Johnson informed them that the ambient noise from the facility would mask the sound of their approach. Once the agents descended from his chopper, he reported to CTU that they were away. ("9:00pm-10:00pm")

Day 8[]

By Day 8, Johnson was working for CTU New York. He flew fellow agents Torres, Hurley and Cole Ortiz to retrieve material witness Victor Aruz who had critical intel on a possible assassination on the IRK president Omar Hassan. After Victor and Jack Bauer, who was approached by Aruz to contact CTU to get him immunity and protection and was then asked to deliver Aruz to the CTU agents, was attacked by two Red Square hitmen and couldn't make it to the destined helipad, Johnson rerouted and landed on a rooftop in West 21st on New York City. Jack managed to take out the hitmen and delivered Victor to Cole. However, a third hitman Davros fired a stinger missile from a nearby building, destroying their CTU chopper before the extraction, killing Johnson and Torres in the blast and critically injuring Aruz, who died several minutes later after telling Jack there was a mole close to Hassan. ("4:00pm-5:00pm")

Cole later asked an intelligence agent to give him the home numbers of Johnson and Torres and demanded that nobody speak to their wives before he did. ("5:00pm-6:00pm")
