Joseph Gatt (born December 3, 1974; age 50) is an English actor who did motion capture performances for 24: The Game.
Biography and career[]
Joseph Gatt was born and raised in London. His parents are from Malta. Gatt became interested in acting at a young age after his parents took him to see Star Wars at the age of 8. He began his professional training at Sylvia Young Theater School and then at the Mountview Academy of Theater Arts. Gatt was also briefly part of the British Royal Marines.
Gatt started his acting career performing in local theater productions. After moving to the United States, he continued performing also on film and television. Gatt has appeared in films like Orpheus & Eurydice, Pulse (with Zach Grenier), Thor (with Colm Feore), and Dumbo. He has also worked on TV shows like The Bill, Banshee, Z Nation, and Teen Wolf.
Aside from his acting work, Gatt has been working as a motion capture performer since 2000. As such, he has worked on video games like SOCOM and Driver. However, Gatt is more known for providing the motion capture and likeness for Kratos from the acclaimed video game franchise God of War.
