Joseph Hacker

Joseph Hacker (born September 2, 1944; age 79) played Logan's Press Secretary during Season 4, and a Cabinet Secretary, during Season 6 of 24. Both characters were unnamed.

Biography and career

Joseph Hacker completed his Master's degree from New York University. He studied acting with Stella Adler, Peggy Feury, and Lee Strasberg among others. Hacker started his acting career in the 1970s, appearing in films like Mr. Ricco and TV shows like S.W.A.T., Baretta, and Fantasy Island. Overall, he has appeared in over 50 TV shows and hundreds of commercials.

Since 1996, Hacker has taught performance for the camera for the USC School of Dramatic Arts. He is currently an associate professor of Theatre Practice. In 2011, Hacker published his first book, Auditioning On Camera: An Actor's Guide.
