Biography and career[]
Joseph Kamal was born and raised in Manhattan. However, he also lived for five years in Cairo, Egypt.
From an early age, he developed an interest in theater and acting. After college, Kamal decided to pursue a career in acting. He had a role as a Taliban doctor in Tony Kushner's Homebody/Kabul. After that, he appeared in many plays in New York, Baltimore, and Washington, DC.
Eventually, Kamal moved to Los Angeles, where he has continued working with several theater companies. Aside of theater, he has appeared in numerous TV shows like Law & Order, The Unit (with Dennis Haysbert), and NCIS (with Pauley Perrette).
