This article's subject relates to Season 4 of 24.

Karen Pendleton was Debbie Pendleton's mother.

Before Day 4[edit | edit source]

Karen was fond of her daughter's boyfriend, Behrooz Araz, once remarking to his parents that he was "one of the few boys who [seemed] to know the meaning of 'please' and 'thank you.'"

Day 4[edit | edit source]

When Debbie did not arrive at her dermatologist appointment, Karen became worried and went to see Behrooz to find out if Debbie was with him. At the Araz home, she met Navi and Dina Araz at the door and explained the situation. They did not let her inside, claiming that none of them had seen Debbie and Behrooz had been in his room studying all day.

Karen became increasingly agitated, especially when she heard the distinctive ringtone on Debbie's phone. However, Behrooz came to the door and explained that it was his phone - he and Debbie had downloaded the same song when they started going out. Still troubled, but apparently satisfied, Karen left.
