Biography and career[]
Kate Garwood was born in London, England. Her father is production designer Norman Garwood.
Garwood began her career in 1998, working as an assistant to 24 director/producer Stephen Hopkins in the film Lost in Space. She continued working with Hopkins in the film Under Suspicion. When Hopkins went on to work on Season 1 of 24, Garwood served as his assistant during the show.
In 2005, Garwood started working as a producer on shows like Californication and most recently House of Lies.
