Ken was a detective inspector with the London Metropolitan Police Service. For three years before Day 9, Ken also acted as an informant for the local CIA station, primarily working with Agent Kate Morgan.
During Day 9, Ken was on the job at an accident scene when Agent Morgan called him with a favor to ask. She sent him the SIM number for a stolen cell phone owned by Chloe O'Brian and asked him to search police records for the phone numbers of all the other phones in the stolen shipment. Ken initially refused, but gave in after Morgan threatened to tell his DCI that he had been on their payroll for the last three years. ("Day 9: 12:00pm-1:00pm")
Later that night, Ken found the bodies of Jordan Reed and James Harman in a bike shop. After verifying that Reed was CIA, Ken contacted Kate Morgan to inform her. Kate and Erik Ritter met with Ken at the crime scene, where he informed them what had happened. ("Day 9: 7:00pm-8:00pm")
