Kent Manski was a senior officer in the United States National Guard who was deployed to Marietta, Georgia during Day 2.

Upon arrival, Manski witnessed the racist rioting in the Middle Eastern community. At first he followed a "containment only" tactical rule-set, allowing minor misdemeanors to go unchallenged, but he called Lynne Kresge to find out how the President wanted them to respond. Lynne relayed an order from President David Palmer to enforce a curfew, and start arresting anyone in violation. However, the protesters grew violent and the troops began firing rubber bullets into the crowd, killing a small child. ("Day 2: 1:00am-2:00am")
