Kim Murphy (February 8, 1974October 26, 2018; age 44) played Bridgit during Season 1 of 24. Her stunt double for the role was Jennifer Caputo.

Biography and career[]

Kim Murphy was born in Olympia, Washington. She attended Tumwater High School in Tumwater, Washington. Murphy was also Miss Thurston County in Thurston County, Washington during the early 90's.

Murphy's first television appearance was on a 1993 episode of Melrose Place. Doug Savant, who was a regular on the show, was credited in the episode, but didn't appear. She followed it with appearances in Touch of an Angel, Cybill, Party of Five, L.A. Doctors, snd Snoops. In 2000, she had a recurring role on Level 9 (with Tim Guinee). After this, and her appearance on 24, she also had guest roles on The Division, Boomtown (with Lana Parrilla and Gregg Henry), Cold Case (with Robin Thomas), and Brothers & Sisters.

Aside from her television work, Murphy has had roles on films like City of Angels (with Colm Feore), David and Lisa (with Vicellous Shannon), The In Crowd, and Burning Annie.

She was married to Doug Friedman, a clinical social worker. Murphy passed away by suicide in October of 2018. [1] [2]
