Lance Gilbert is a stunt performer who had two different roles in Season 5 of 24.
Biography and career[]
Lance Gilbert comes from a family of stunt performers. His brother, Troy Gilbert, is also a stunt performer who has appeared various times on 24. His other brother Tim, a stunt performer, appeared in Season 3 of 24. Lance has been a prolific stunt performer and co-ordinator for many years. He has worked on numerous films like Titanic, Termintaor 3: Rise of the Machines, and The Lone Ranger. He also worked on several films of the Fast & Furious franchise, doubling for Paul Walker.
During his career, Gilbert has also doubled for other stars such as Jean-Claude Van Damme, Mel Gibson, Paul Walker and Josh Hartnett. In 2003 he won a Taurus award for his work on xXx, which was stunt coordinated by Jeff Cadiente.
Role on 24[]
Gilbert had two roles during Season 5 of 24:
- In "Day 5: 9:00am-10:00am", he played one of Anton Beresch's separatists who was blown up and killed along with Ibrim when Jack Bauer detonated latter's explosive vest to save Derek Huxley from being executed.
- In "Day 5: 1:00am-2:00am", he played Stipes, one of Christopher Henderson's mercenaries.
