Lloyd Barachina is a stunt performer and actor who appeared as a jihadi in 24: Legacy.

Biography and career[]

Barachina is from California. He was enlisted in the Navy where he served as a Radioman Communications Specialist. Barachina was deployed for four years returning to the US afterwards.

Barachina started his career as a stunt performer in 2003, working on TV shows like Alias and E-Ring. Through his career, he has worked in other shows like Castle, NCIS, True Blood, and Fear the Walking Dead. In 2018, he doubled for Rey Gallegos during an episode of S.W.A.T.

Aside from TV, Barachina has also worked on films like Crank: High Voltage, Olympus Has Fallen, The Hangover Part III, and bad Times at the El Royale.

Role on 24[]

Barachina played a jihadi working with Malik Al-Sabi during 24: Legacy. His character was with Malik and another terrorist searching for the Army Rangers who were involved in the deaths of Ibrahim Bin-Khalid and searching for the strongbox that contains a USB card with activation codes for their sleeper cells in America. He pursued Eric Carter and Ben Grimes in Washington Union Station. They pursued them at a construction site, where Carter released a large pipe which rolled down the hill towards them. Using the rolling pipe as cover, Carter shot that soldier, killing him.
