Logan Marshall-Green (born November 1, 1976; age 47) played Richard Heller during Season 4 of 24.
Biography[]
Logan Marshall-Green was born in Charleston, South Carolina and raised by his mother, Lowry Marshall, in Cranston, Rhode Island. He has a twin brother named Taylor. His mother wanted her name involved, hence the hyphenated combination of last names from his mother and father. Marshall-Green attended Edward S. Rhodes School (4th grade), Edgewood Highlands school (5th-6th grade), and Barrington High School.
Marshall-Green did his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he also wrote for the school newspaper. He attended the National Theater Institute in Waterford, Connecticut and then went on to earn his Master's in Fine Arts from New York University's Graduate Acting Program at the Tisch School of the Arts.
Logan Marshall-Green is best known for his recurring role as Trey Atwood on The O.C. (with Alan Dale). He also had a guest spot on the original Law & Order, and its spin-off, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in the early 2000's. Other shows in which he has appeared are Dark Blue (with Cleavon McClendon III) and Traveler (with Steven Culp and Christina Chang).
Aside of TV, Marshall-Green is a prolific theater actor. He received a Drama Desk award for his performance in Neil LaBute's The Distance From Here in 2004. He recently played a shark in Adam Bock's Swimming in the Shallows.[1][2] He has also appeared in films like Prometheus, Across the Universe, and Devil (with Vincent Laresca).
