Lombardo Boyar (born December 1, 1973; age 51) is a character actor who appears as Ramon Garcia during Season 2 of 24.
Biography and career[]
Lombardo Boyar was born in El Paso, Texas. He served in the United States Army as a forward observer in the 82nd Airborne Division during the 1990s. After that, he started pursuing a career in acting.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Boyar has worked in feature films, series television, animation, and commercial voiceover. Aside of 24, some of the shows he has appeared are ER (with Eriq La Salle), C-16: FBI (with Glenn Morshower, D.B. Sweeney, Zach Grenier, and Michael Cavanaugh), NYPD Blue (with Esai Morales, Jude Ciccolella, John Billingsley, Lourdes Benedicto, and Daniel Dae Kim), Boston Legal (with Freddie Prinze Jr.), The Shield (with Benito Martinez), Over There (with Omid Abtahi and Navid Negahban), Southland (with Michael Cudlitz, Regina King, and Jenny Gago), NCIS (with Pauley Perrette and Ray Wise), and Awake (with Cherry Jones).
Boyar has also appeared in films like EdTV (with Dennis Hopper), Gone in Sixty Seconds (with Will Patton), and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (with Kirk Acevedo). He also provided the voice of Raúl in the films Happy Feet, and its sequel, Happy Feet Two (with Sunil Malhotra).
