Lothaire Bluteau (born April 14, 1957; age 67) played bio-terrorist Marcus Alvers during Season 3 of 24.

Biography and career

Lothaire Bluteau was born in Montréal, Canada. He began his career in 1983 when he appeared in the Canadian film Rien qu'un jeu. After that, he has appeared in films like Black Robe (with Sandrine Holt), The Touch, The Confessional, Inconceivable (with Colm Feore), Dead Heat (with Kiefer Sutherland and Denis Arndt), and Gravy (with Jimmi Simpson).

Aside of films, Bluteau has also appeared in numerous TV shows. He has guest-starred in shows like Miami Vice, Oz (with Kirk Acevedo), Missing (with Joaquim de Almeida), and The Unit (with Dennis Haysbert, Max Martini, and Gina Torres). In 2010, he had a recurring role in The Tudors as Ambassador Charles de Marillac.
