Lou Richards (born September 3, 1951; age 68) played a businessman hostage during Season 5 of 24.

Biography and career Edit

Lou Richards was born in Perryton, Texas. Because of his family military status, Richards moved a lot through his childhood, attending schools in Hawaii, Alabama, California, New Jersey, and Maine. During college, Richards got involved in college radio at Texas Tech University. While working as a disc-jockey in Honolulu, Richards landed a few small roles in Hawaii Five-0. As a result, he became interested in acting and moved to Los Angeles.

Richards has worked in countless TV shows like Diff'rent Strokes, Hunter, JAG, The X-Files, Without a Trace (with Michael O'Neill), ER (with Sara Gilbert), Bones (with Ross McCall), Weeds, Mad Men, Criminal Minds (with Ray Wise), and NCIS (with Pauley Perrette).

Aside from TV shows, Richards has appeared in films like Living Out Loud (with Jenette Goldstein), Dischord (with Andrew Borba), and Hulk (with Daniel Dae Kim). He has also provided his voice to countless of animated shows and video games.

Role on 24 Edit

Richards played the role of a businessman at the Ontario Airport during Season 5 of 24. His character was one of the hostages during Anton Beresch's takeover of the airport, and was the first to be publicly executed in front of the cameras. Richards appeared only in one episode and was credited as a co-star.
