Biography and career[]

Lyn Alicia Henderson was born on Silver Spring, Maryland. She developed an interest in entertainment since she was a child, performing at talent shows and earning a role on a local TV show called In Our Lives by the age of 17. Henderson is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park.

After graduating, Henderson moved to New York where she worked in theater. Later, she moved to Los Angeles where she started performing stand-up comedy and improv. In 1995, she landed the role of paramedic Pam Olbes on the hit television show ER. She remained in the show until its finale in 2009. During that time, she worked with actors like Eriq La Salle, Paul McCrane, Reiko Aylesworth, Jesse Borrego, and others.

Aside of her role on ER, Henderson has appeared in numerous other TV shows like Major Crimes (with Raymond Cruz and Jonathan Del Arco), NCIS (with Pauley Perrette), Friends, and Eli Stone, among others.
