Mandira Bedi (born April 15, 1972; age 48) is an Indian actress and former television game show host who portrayed Nikita Rai in the first season of the Indian version of 24.

Biography and career Edit

Mandira Bedi was born in Mumbai to a Punjabi-speaking family. She studied at the Cathedral & John Connon High School and later at St. Xavier's College and Sophia Polytech. After graduating, Bedi started working at Oglivy & Mather Advertising Agency, when she was offered a small role in the Indian TV series Shanti.

After that role, Bedi has continued working in other shows like Kyunki... Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi..., Bali, Aurat, and Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. She has also appeared in films like Vodka Diaries, O Teri, and Manmadhan.

Bedi married Indian director and producer Raj Kaushal on 14 February 1999. They have a son together.
