Marc A. Scizak (born January 10, 1978; age 43) is a stunt performer and actor that played a CTU TAC team leader during Season 6 of 24. Scizak has done stunt work on many film and TV productions.

Biography and career[edit | edit source]

Marc Scizak was born in Walnut Creek, California. He went to Las Lomas High School and then studied at California State University, Chico.

Scizak started his career as a stunt performer in 1997, working on the TV series The Practice. Since then, he has performed stunts on numerous of TV shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Numb3rs, House, Banshee, Teen Wolf, Fear the Walking Dead, and The Goldbergs. Scizak has also doubled for stars like Rob Lowe, Dylan McDermott, and Titus Welliver, among others.

Since 2009, Scizak has been working steadily as a stunt coordinator for FX's comedy show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. During his time with the show, he has also worked as a second unit director, and an actor. Scizak was nominated for an Outstanding Stunt Coordination Emmy three years in a row for his work in the show.[1]

Aside of TV, Scizak has also worked on films like Species III, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Dark Knight Rises, and Dunkirk.

Role on 24[edit | edit source]

Scizak played a CTU TAC team leader during Season 6 of 24. He led the team that raided 9407 Hindry Place and was killed in the explosion, during Season 6. Although his IMDb page lists his character's name as "Agent Ackers", the character was not named during the show.
