Mark Huntington Bramhall (born August 22, 1942; age 82) played Sam during Season 6 of 24.

Biography and career[]

Mark Bramhall began acting professionally in 1966, as a member of the original company of San Francisco's American Conservatory Theatre. Through his career, he has performed off-Broadway, at regional theatres nationwide and dozens of California venues. More recently in Los Angeles, Bramhall has starred at Sacred Fools Theatre, The Lillian Theatre, Pico Playhouse, Actors' Co-op, Odyssey Theatre Ensemble and The Antaeus Company. He won a 2012 Ovation Award covering James Cromwell, Alan Mandell, and Hugo Armstrong in Center Theatre Group's Waiting For Godot at the Mark Taper Forum, and was nominated for a 2013 Ovation Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in 24th St. Theatre's Walking The Tightrope.

Aside of theater, Bramhall has appeared in numerous films and TV shows. Some of the films in which he has appeared are Prisoners, Sliver, Vanilla Sky, Star Trek (with Zachary Quinto), and Annabelle: Creation (with Miranda Otto). As for TV shows, Bramhall has appeared on NYPD Blue (with Jimmy Smits), The X-Files, ER (with Shohreh Aghdashloo and Leland Orser), Nip/Tuck (with Katee Sackhoff), Alias (with David Anders) and Colony. He has also worked as a voice actor for several video games

Bramhall lives in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Christine Avila.
