Mark James Derwin (born October 28, 1960; age 63) played Joe Stevens during Season 7 of 24.

Biography and career

Mark Derwin was born in Park Forest, Illinois. He attended the State University of New York at Cobleskill for one semester. He then briefly worked at IBM, and eventually moved to Los Angeles.

In 1988, he appeared in the soap opera Days of Our Lives. After that, he has appeared in shows like NCIS (with Pauley Perrette and Necar Zadegan), Boston Legal (with Currie Graham), and Mad Men. He was also a regular on The Secret Life of the American Teenager from 2008 to 2013. He also had recurring roles on two different Bonnie Hunt comedy shows as well as CSI, Heist and How I Met Your Mother. He appeared in the Amazon series Bosch (with Annie Wersching, Scott Klace, Paul Vincent O'Connor and DaJuan Johnson).

Derwin has also appeared in films like Fatal Secrets, Laura Smiles, Accepted, Dirty Deeds, Ballad of the Nightingale (with Michael Madsen), The Minus Man (with Dennis Haysbert and Janeane Garofalo), and Evil Obsession.
