Mark Holden (born September 21, 1962; age 61) played a CIA security guard in 24: Live Another Day.

Biography and career

Holden is the first son of the late Admiral Augustus Aikhomu, former Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (1986-1993). During his youth, Mark was a police officer in the Metropolitan Police Service in London, England. He was also an accomplished athlete competing in bobsledding, track and field, and decathlon.

Holden began his acting career in 1991 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada under the mentorship of Robin Phillips. He performed in several plays during the early 90's, before he decided to move to film and TV. His first credited appearance was in 1996 in The Sentinel (with Richard Burgi). After that, he has appeared in shows like The X-Files, Stargate SG-1, Andromeda, and The Twilight Zone.

Aside of TV, Holden has also appeared on films like Captain Phillips (with Chris Mulkey, Corey Johnson and Max Martini), World War Z (with James Badge Dale), and Final Destination (with Tony Todd).
