Biography and career

Matthew Carey was born in Denver, Colorado. He started his acting career when he was still a teenager with a recurring role on the TV show Someone Like Me in 1994.

After that, Carey has appeared in several TV shows like Law & Order, The Pretender (with Jon Gries, Raphael Sbarge, and Patrick Bauchau), Party of Five, Undressed (with Karim Prince), ER (with Eriq La Salle), and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (with Xander Berkeley and Kate Mara).

Carey has also starred in films like Creature (with Colm Feore, Megalyn Echikunwoke, and Rick Ravanello), War of the Angels (with Michael Massee), Old School (with Elisha Cuthbert), Self Medicated (with Karim Prince), and Dirty Deeds (with Mark Derwin). In 2012, Carey had guest roles on Castle (with Stana Katic, Penny Johnson Jerald, and Tim Guinee) and Grey's Anatomy (with Steven Culp).
