Biography and career
Maury Sterling was born on Mill Valley, California. He began his acting career in 1995, playing a pilot in the film Outbreak. The film also starred Benito Martinez, as well as Kiefer Sutherland's father, Donald.
After that, Sterling has appeared in other films like Full Moon Rising and Behind Enemy Lines (both with Chris Mulkey), Impostor (with Tim Guinee), Hart's War (with Vicellous Shannon, Rory Cochrane and Rick Ravanello), Smokin' Aces (with Tommy Flanagan), and the 2010 film version of The A-Team (with Gerald McRaney).
On television, Sterling has appeared in shows like Picket Fences (with Jaime Gomez), Boy Meets World, JAG, Crossing Jordan (with Ravi Kapoor, Kevin Alejandro, and Kenneth Choi), Star Trek: Enterprise (with John Billingsley), Without a Trace (with Kirk Baltz and Daniel Dae Kim), and Deadwood (with John Hawkes).
