Biography and career[]
Maximiliano Hernandez was born in Brooklyn, New York City. He began acting when he was in high school and briefly studied at the Leonard Davis Center for Performing Arts. Hernandez also worked as a stage actor before moving to Los Angeles, California.
Through his career, Hernandez has starred on the films Hotel for Dogs with Kevin Dillon, and in Pride and Glory with Jon Voight. He has also appeared in TV shows like Southland, The Walking Dead, and Numb3rs. Hernandez was part of the supporting cast of the TNT cable TV series The Last Ship (with Bill Smitrovich, Ravil Isyanov, John Pyper-Ferguson, Bruce Nozick and Tracy Middendorf) from 2014 to 2018.
Aside from that, Hernandez is known for playing S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Jasper Sitwell in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He played the role in numerous films from the franchise, like Thor, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and The Avengers, as well as in the ABC TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
