Megha Singhania was a member of the Singhania political family, the sister of Prime Minister Pratap Singhania and the mother of Prithvi Singhania.
Megha sided with the opposition party at some point before Day 1, believing her son Prithvi to be the only one worthy of becoming Prime Minister. She had an affair with the opposition minister Ajit Yadav. In order to discredit Aditya Singhania, the Prime Minister elect, she leaked a story to Mehek Ahuja that Aditya was responsible for someone's death during his St. Stephen's graduation dinner.
She came to the Renaissance Hotel at around 5:20am, and bumped into KK when she arrived. He promised her he was acting in India's best interests before excusing himself. Megha then went to see Naina Singhania to ask for VIP security clearance for Aditya's rally. Naina said she should not come, and Megha warned both her and Aditya that only her son was worthy of the Prime Minister title. ("5:00am-6:00am")
Prithvi came to her house at 10am, and she admitted to him that she had leaked the story to Ahuja. He asked her why, and she explained that he should be PM, but he told her that Ahuja had dropped the story. Half an hour later, Divya came to Megha's house and threatened to reveal her affair with Yadav and her acceptance of bribes. Megha then called Ahuja, asking why she dropped the story, speculating that Naina had pressured her. Megha then called KK and had him arrange for Ahuja's assassination.
Megha admits to Mehek Ahuja's murder
After KK threatened to frame Aditya for the murder, Prithvi returned to his mother's house and confronted her for her actions. Megha admitted to her part in Ahuja's death, but justified herself by pointing out that Prithvi was merely Aditya's secretary and deserved to have his position. She mentioned Divya's attempt to blackmail her, but Prithvi left in anger. However, she did not realise Prithvi had recorded her conversation implicating herself in Ahuja's death. ("1:00pm-2:00pm")
Megha and KK are exposed
Megha attended the rally at Sambhaji Park with KK, and they sat in the front row as Aditya gave his speech. They watched as Aditya admitted to his part in the St. Stephen's death, before bringing forward Prithvi. Prithvi then played the recording of Megha, and reporters then started questioning her and KK. Aditya and Prithvi left, as Megha and KK avoided the press's questions. ("5:00pm-6:00pm")
Megha speaks to Prithvi
She returned to Singhania's hotel at 9:25pm, and met with Prithvi. She told him he was a genius for his actions, managing to gain the public's support and put himself in a position to become PM. She expressed her pride at his actions. ("9:00pm-10:00pm")
