Melanee Murray is an actress who played Lucy during Season 1 of 24.

Biography and career[]

Melanee Murray studied at Bennington College. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Literature. During her time in college, Murray was active in several theatrical productions, while also spending some time in Paris as part of a college program. She also wrote a one act play titled Sister Satan, under the tutelage of screenwriter Peter Hedges.

Through her acting career, Murray has appeared in TV shows like Law & Order (with Tony Todd), Judging Amy, Everybody Loves Raymond, and Heartland. She also had a recurring role from 2001 to 2002 on the Nickelodeon show 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd. Aside from TV, Murray also appeared in the film K-PAX, featuring Vincent Laresca.

From 2009 to 2010, Murray worked as General Coordinator for Ellipsis Tree Collective. She is also a columnist and reviewer that has written for Purple Paper and Calgary Herald. On stage, she has worked on plays like The Venus of Basin Street and Conversations with Hair. Murray has also written, produced, and directed plays like The Hoodwink, Race Anonymous, and Do the Math.
