Melissa Barker (born September 6, 1972; age 53) is a stunt performer and actress who appeared several times in 24.
Biography and career[]
Barker is perhaps best known for being a stunt double for Sarah Michelle Gellar in various shows and movies. Like Sophia Crawford, she has done this numerous times.
She has provided stunts for shows such as Passions (with David Kilde), Charmed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (with fiance Erik Betts and Gregory J. Barnett), Point Pleasant (with Barnett and James Morrison), V.I.P. (with J.J. Perry and Jalil Jay Lynch), Supah Ninjas (with Hiro Koda and Jeff Cadiente) and iCarly.
Movie credits include the Scooby-Doo movies (with Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.), Surrogates, The Spirit (with Eric Balfour), Alien Raiders (with Carlos Bernard), The Last Airbender and The Green Hornet. She has also provided motion stunt capture for a couple of video games in recent years.

Barker has appeared several times in 24:
- In "Day 2: 5:00pm-6:00pm", she doubled for Elisha Cuthbert in the role of Kim Bauer. She was present during the filming of the sequence with the cougar, and after Cuthbert was bitten and had to be taken to hospital Barker was seen in the shots with the animal.
- In "Day 7: 7:00pm-8:00pm" she appeared as a hostage at the White House who got thrown out of a room by Juma's commandos.
She was also present to double for Annie Wersching in the helicopter sequence in the Season 7 finale, but Wersching appears to do all her own stunts in that sequence.
