Maher Issa Tadros (born April 15, 1983; age 41), also known as Merik Tadros, portrayed CTU field agent Jamal Nasawa during Season 6 of 24.

Biography and career[]

Merik Tadros was born in Chicago, Illinois. He studied Theater Arts and Cinema for one semester at the University of Iowa, and then head to Hollywood. There, he studied at The Groundlings Theatre and the Stella Adler Academy of Acting, and started his acting career in various theater plays.

His first film role was an uncredited part on Sam Mendes' Jarhead, along with James Morrison, Dennis Haysbert, V.J. Foster, Jamie Martz, and Michael Broderick. After that, he appeared in Steven Spielberg's Munich, with Brian Goodman and Daniel Bess. Other films in which he has appeared are Postal, The Kingdom (with Hrach Titizian, Nick Hermz, and Sala Baker), and Crossing Over (with Michael Cudlitz, Jamison Haase, and Kevin Sizemore).

Aside of films, Tadros has appeared in TV shows like E-Ring (with Benjamin Bratt, Marc Casabani, and Dennis Hopper), CSI: Miami (with Raphael Sbarge), and State of Affairs. From 2008 to 2009, he had a recurring role on CBS' NCIS, along with Pauley Perrette and Jude Ciccolella.
