Michael Holden played Ron Wieland during Season 2 of 24.
Biography and career[]
Holden started his television career in 1983 on the show Happy Days. He later appeared in shows like Freddy's Nightmare (with Albert Hall), Beauty and the Beast (with Jayne Atkinson), Matlock, and Quantum Leap (with Jenny Gago). In 1986, he landed recurring roles on Cheers and L.A. Law. In 1991, he did the same in Reasonable Doubts playing Judge Melvin Orrick for 12 episodes. One of them also featured François Chau. All three roles ended in 1992.
After that, Holden continued with roles on Melrose Place (with Doug Savant), The Practice (with Kim Raver and Robin Thomas), Timecop (with Kevin Fry, Salvator Xuereb, and Nick Jameson), Chicago Hope (with Vincent Laresca), Gideon's Crossing (with Ravi Kapoor), Without a Trace (with Phil Abrams), NYPD Blue (with Currie Graham and Esai Morales), Eyes (with Gregg Henry and Geoff Pierson), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (with Aisha Tyler), The Mentalist (with Zeljko Ivanek and Tim Guinee), and Desperate Housewives (again with Doug Savant).
Although Holden works primarily on television, he has also starred on films like Uninvited, Sketch Artist II: Hands That See (with Glenn Morshower), The Little Death, Fallout, Punks (with Phillip Rhys and Rudolf Martin), and Paparazzi.
