Michael Roddy (born September 9) played CTU SWAT Agent Smith during Season 5 of 24.
Biography and career[]
Roddy studied at Florida State College in Jacksonville, from 1986 to 1989. After that, he attended Jacksonville University. In 1992, he started his professional acting career appearing in the TV show The Young Riders. Roddy has at least a dozen acting credits, including appearances in the television series ER (with Paul McCrane), Roswell, and Pacific Blue.
Aside of TV, Roddy's indie movie credits include Speedway Junky and Theory of the Leisure Class (with Michael Massee). He has also worked as a gaffer in at least two productions.
Since 1998, Roddy has worked consistently in the Florida area, as a Show Director and Manager of Concepts and Scripts for Universal Studios. He also worked as Show Director for Busch Gardens, SeaWorld, and Walt Disney Entertainment. In 2005, Roddy started working as Manager of Show Development for Universal Orlando. In 2011, he transferred to Walt Disney World, where he worked until 2018.
