Biography and career[]

Mickey Maxwell is an actor from Chicago, Illinois. He started working on theater in his hometown, and eventually started getting into films. He considered comedian John Candy as his mentor and had a small role on his film Uncle Buck. However, Maxwell's scene was cut from the last edit. After that, Candy advised him to move to Los Angeles, which he did.

In Los Angeles, Maxwell was a member of sketch comedy troupes like The Hollywood Players and The McGillicuddys. On TV, he has worked on numerous TV shows like CSI: NY, Mad Men, Grey's Anatomy, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Scandal (with Darby Stanchfield). Maxwell has also appeared on several short films like Making Changes and Coming Together.
