Raison began her acting career in 1999, in the TV movie Suzy Q. After that, she has had roles in shows like Holby City, Emmerdale, and Doctor Who. She also had recurring roles on shows like Plus One, Married Single Other, Vexed, and Silk. From 2005 to 2009, she was best known as Joanna Portman in MI-5 (or Spooks at it is known in the UK).
Raison has also appeared on films like Match Point (with Colin Salmon), My Week with Marilyn, and Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo.
