Melissa Anne "Missy" Crider (born June 13, 1974; age 50) played Rita Brady during Season 6 of 24.
Biography and career[]
Missy Crider was born in Columbia, South Carolina. She started her entertainment career as a singer and violinist when she was still a child. In 1986, she received the Young Entertainer of the Year Award by the OMA Stage Awards Association. However, a car accident prevented her from continuing her musical career.
When she was still 12 years old, Crider started acting. She appeared in the TV movie Time Out for Dad. She also starred in the mini-series Lonesome Dove (with Rick Schroder) and the same season of Murder One (with DB Woodside). She has appeared in dozens of films often in supporting roles.
Crider has also appeared in films like Gigli, Frailty (with Powers Boothe), Mulholland Drive, and Powder (with Ray Wise).
