Monica Macer was a producers' assistant for Season 2 and 3 of 24. She is married to the actor Sterling Macer, Jr.

Biography and career[]

Monica Macer studied at Vassar College, graduating in 1993. She began her career in theater arts in New York City. In the late 1990s, Macer worked on an independent film called Park Day, along with Sterling Macer, Jr.

After that, Macer focused on working on television. She worked as an assistant at Nickelodeon Movies and a creative executive for the Walt Disney Company. She was then selected by the Fox Writers Program, and worked as a producers' assistant for Season 2 and Season 3 of 24. Macer then went on to become a writers' assistant for the first season of Lost, winning the Writers Guild of America (WGA) Award for Best Dramatic Series. She then became a story editor and writer on Prison Break and the short-lived Knight Rider remake.

Since then, Macer has continued working as a writer for shows like Teen Wolf, Nashville, Queen Sugar, and Deception. She has also worked as producer and showrunner for shows like Gentefied and MacGyver.
