Navy Command (NAVCOM) was a part of the United States Navy with an area of responsibility for operations in the Middle East.
During the Persian Gulf War, Navy Command were displeased at the actions of Navy SEAL Ira Gaines, who shot an Iraqi Republican Guard commander in the head against orders, forcing his team to exfiltrate before recovering the SCUD missiles they were looking for. (Findings at CTU)
