Nestor Serrano (born November 5, 1955; age 69) played Navi Araz in Season 4 of 24. Although his character is Turkish, the actor is actually Hispanic.
Biography[]
Nestor Serrano was born in Bronx, New York. Both his parents came from Puerto Rico, and met in New York. Nestor started his acting career at Queens College, where he was studying computer science. He joined the Drama Club to meet new people, but ended up developing a true interest for acting. Serrano later studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, both in New York City. He lives in Manhattan with his wife Debbie, with whom he has a son, Spike.
Serrano has appeared in films such as The Day After Tomorrow (with Arjay Smith), Runaway Jury (with Leland Orser), Lethal Weapon 2 (with Jenette Goldstein, Dean Norris and Mark Rolston), Bad Boys, The Negotiator (with Michael Cudlitz, Carlos Gomez, Dean Norris, Tim Kelleher and Mary Page Keller) and Act of Valor (which was directed by stuntman Scott Waugh). He has also appeared on TV shows such as The Hat Squad, Alias, CSI, Fringe, Criminal Minds (with Nick Jameson), Revolution and FOX's 2013 update of Sleepy Hollow.
