Nicholas Arash Guilak (born August 23, 1970; age 53) played Farhad Salim in Season 2 and Yosik Khatami in Season 4 of 24.

Biography and career[]

Nicholas Guilak was born in Houston, Texas but raised in La Jolla, California. In 1991, he moved to Los Angeles where he received a Bachelor of Arts from USC in Theatre, Humanities and Film. Guilak then studied in London and Scotland where he performed in various shows and plays. He returned to the US, completing a Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from UCLA.

Through his career, Guilak has appeared in TV shows like The Bold and the Beautiful, JAG (with Scott Lawrence), The Agency (with Carl Ciarfalio), Threat Matrix (with Anthony Azizi and Navid Negahban), CSI: Miami (with Rory Cochrane, Austin Tichenor, and Salvator Xuereb), NCIS (with Pauley Perrette), Hawthorne (with Nazanin Boniadi), and Bones (with T.J. Thyne and Hrach Titizian).

Aside of TV shows, Guilak has also appeared in films like His Secret Family, Collision Course, Delta Farce (with Glenn Morshower), Got Papers?, Two Coyotes, and the straight-to-video sequel Cruel Intentions 2, among others.

Guilak as Yosik Khatami

Guilak has appeared in two different roles in 24. During Season 2, he played the role of Farhad Salim, a Middle Eastern intelligence agent. Guilak appeared in just one episode. In Season 4, Guilak returned to the show, this time to play the role of Yosik Khatami, one of Habib Marwan's terrorists. This time, he appeared in two episodes. In both occasions, Guilak was credited as a guest star.

Guilak is one of several actors from Season 2 to reappear in Season 4 but as a different character. Others include Faran Tahir, Heather Salmon, Cliff Weissman, Michael Hilow and Anthony Azizi.
