Nicolaides arrived at the Holland Avenue tenement and treated terrorist Samir Mehran after he was shot by Jack Bauer. When Cole Ortiz asked about his condition, he informed him that despite taking two shots to the shoulder and abdomen, none of his vitals were damaged and he would live. Cole then told him that they would need him for questioning and that he was to be transferred to the Medical unit at CTU New York.
