Nikolai Manos, also known as Hasan, was the terrorist leader during the events of Trojan Horse.

Before Trojan Horse[]

Nikolai Manos was an Eastern European millionaire who was orphaned in a conflict between Chechnya and Russia. He swore vengeance against Russia, while recruiting people into his own "religion" by means of brainwashing. He assumed the name "Hasan," alluding to the practices of the one of the world's first terrorists, also known by that name. The historical Hasan would use psychoactive substances upon a potential recruit, then have women entice that subject while under the influence. Once woken up from that trance, Hasan would tell the subject that they have seen "Paradise," and promises eternal Paradise if the recruit were to die serving Hasan's cause. Nikolai Manos practiced the same methods as the "new Hasan." He was also involved in an affair with an actress named Abigail Heyer.

Trojan Horse[]

During the events of Trojan Horse, Nikolai Manos coordinated the hostage crisis in the Chamberlain Auditorium during the Silver Screen Awards. CTU eventually located him after interrogating Abigail Heyer. He committed suicide in a hidden base, accompanied by architect Nawaf Sanjore.
