Nokia is a Finnish telecommunications and electronics company who provided promotional sponsorshop for Season 2 of 24. Almost all of the mobile phones featured in the season were Nokia brand (see Phones on 24/Season 2).
The company was founded in 1865 as a pulp mill, but in the 1990s it was involved in the telecommunications and mobile phone industries. In the early 2000s it was the largest vendor of mobile phones in the world, but in the later 2000s its market share dropped. In 2014, Microsoft bought its mobile phone division.
