Day 3
Cleveland was intended to be one of nine targets for the release of the Cordilla virus by Stephen Saunders. However, the courier sent to Cleveland was intercepted en route.
Day 4
As shown on one of the screens in the CTU Situation Room, four nuclear power plants were located in Ohio. All four of these were shut down after the initial kill code programmed by Edgar Stiles.
Day 7
One of the targets of a terrorist attack to be carried out by Iké Dubaku included an attack on a chemical processing plant in Kidron, Ohio. Plant Manager John Brunner attempted to stall it by manually releasing some of the gas, knowing that he might not survive. While the gas was stalled, the attack was completely canceled by Dubaku in Washington, D.C. for unrelated reasons.
