Omar Madha (born 1968) is a director on 24: Live Another Day.
Biography and career[]
Madha was born in Dublin, Ireland, and is of Anglo-Burmese ancestry. At 17, he worked as a script executive and first assistant director before directing and selling his first short film.
Since 1997, Madha has worked steadily in British television, directing episodes of series such as Hollyoaks (1997), MI-5 (2004-2007, with Miranda Raison), and Law & Order: UK (2009). In the U.S., he has worked on episodes of Caprica (2010, created by Remi Aubuchon and starring Esai Morales and Peter Wingfield), Big Love (2011, with Gregory Itzin), Covert Affairs (2011, with Gregory Itzin, Kari Matchett, and Navid Negahban), Grimm (2012, with Jamie McShane and Silas Weir Mitchell), Defiance (2013, with Tony Curran and Mia Kirshner), Person of Interest (2013, with Kevin Chapman, Warren Kole, and editor Scott Powell), Revolution (2013, with Billy Burke, Steven Culp, and Zeljko Ivanek), and Almost Human (2013, with Michael Irby).
