Osama bin Laden was a terrorist who carried out a successful attack on the United States that killed thousands of civilians. He was referred to as a "two-bit thug" by Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Jason Newton during his testimony before the House Special Subcommittee, which was convened to investigate the events of Day 1.
