The PS-553 was a type of sniper rifle.

This phenomenally accurate rifle was the sniping weapon of choice for CTU agents. Three times as heavy as an assault rifle, and way over a metre in length; it featured a sophisticated anti recoil system, and was effective up to 200 yards.
