Patrick Priest was a production assistant 24. His work with 24 began with the Season 5 Prequel and continued through Seasons 5 and 6, into Season 7.

Biography and career[edit | edit source]

Patrick Priest was born in Niles, Michigan. He graduated from Niles Senior High School in 1996 and attended Western Michigan University that fall as a business major, majoring in Marketing. However, after a car accident, he was forced to drop out of school for physical therapy and reconstructive surgery. Two years later, he picked up his education at Grand Valley State University.

While studying at GVSU, Priest decided to switch his major to film. He worked on many short films and video projects, either as an assistant director or producer. He graduated in the winter of 2003 with a B.S. in Communications: Major in Film and Video and Emphasis in Film Production. In 2004, he moved to Los Angeles and worked as key set production assistant on 24.

Priest was also a production assistant for several episodes of Six Feet Under and two episodes of Nip/Tuck, among other works. He has additionally done work as an assistant director on other projects. More recently, he has worked on films like Iron Man 3 and The Hunger Games. He currently resides in Chicago, Illinois.

Patrick's involvement with 24 began with uncredited background work during Season 4. He was invited back for full-time employment with the Season 5 Prequel, and continued through Seasons 5 and 6, and into Season 7. He also worked on as a key set production assistant on 24: Redemption. In the season premiere of Season 5, a minor character appeared who was named after Patrick.
